Sherman Toppin is a Real Estate Attorney and Real Estate Broker with over 20 years of experience. Mr. Toppin has a strong background in financing commercial and residential transactions, and broad knowledge of law concerning land use, property management, development, leasing and brokerage activities. Mr. Toppin has participated in many projects involving mixed-use development, residential new construction, and complete renovation.
In academia, Mr. Toppin is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Temple University Real Estate Institute, where he teaches Real Estate Law and licensure course for Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
Mr. Toppin is also a regular Faculty presenter with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, where he has presented a variety of continuing education subjects over the years.
Mr. Toppin is a native of the District of Columbia and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and received his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary School of Law.
In the media, Toppin has appeared on episodes of HGTV’s show “Bang for your Buck” as a Real Estate Expert, providing property valuation data and marketing expertise.
Mr. Toppin joined the team at Acre Mortgage in 2020 to add mortgage financing to his list of transactional capabilities.
